My second portfolio project at The Game Assembly. The project took about 4 weeks half time to finish. For this project my focus was on making a fully game ready character in the artstyle of world of warcraft. It was a really fun project where i got to practise working with handpainted textures and only using the albedo map. For the textures i used substance 3D painter to bake and create the base layers, then i handpainted the details in 3dcoat. For the model i did the blockout and sculpting in zbrush and then did the retopo for the lowpoly and uvs in maya. Also rigged and animated the model in Maya.
Thanks to all classmates, teachers and visitors from the industry who gave me feedback on this piece and helped me push it forward.
